Wells Co. Circuit and Superior Courts – Contract Public Defender

• The attorney selected will be responsible for approximately one-third of all indigent criminal cases filed in the Wells County courts and must be qualified and prepared to represent defendants in all levels of criminal cases, including both misdemeanors and felonies.
• The contract provides compensation of $65,000 per year, paid in monthly installments. This is an independent contract position and does not include employee benefits.
