Allen County Bar Foundation
The Allen County Bar Foundation was established in 1989 through
the generosity of the attorneys practicing in Allen County. The
purposes of the foundation are:

Establish, support and conduct programs and activities designed to
promote the public’s understanding of law and the legal system and to
promote more effective delivery of legal services to the public.

Establish, award and support scholarships for the study of law at
accredited law schools.

Conduct research, investigations and surveys of subjects, problems and
activities related to law and its administration and publish reports
based on the results obtained.

Encourage and support traditional activities and innovative and
broadened activities relating to the continuing education of
practicing lawyers and the introduction of law school graduates
to the practice of law, all enhancing the performance of ethical
responsibilities by the legal profession.
Programs and projects funded by the ACBF include:
- "We the People” competition for elementary, middle and high schools
- Preservation of the Allen County Courthouse
- Project Peace
- Mock trial competitions
- Legal information programs for the public
- Volunteer lawyer services
- Law school scholarships

program or for general purposes. You may also make a donation in memory
of someone or to honor someone for his/her contribution to the legal
profession.
The Allen County Bar Foundation is a charitable organization as
defined by Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
